At RCI you can find interviews, feature reports, columns, news, a current affairs blog and a multimedia section. The RCI gives viewers an opportunity to learn about Canadian Society in an interactive environment. The RCI delivers information in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese.
GREY BRUCE COMMUNITY FORUM
The Welcoming Communities Initiative is hosting a forum at the Harry Lumley Bayshore in Owen Sound on Friday November 8, 2013. The goal of the welcoming communities initiative is to attract and support newcomers to Grey and Bruce Counties! Come and listen to a presentation by three individuals with experience in developing inclusive communities and participate in a group discussion about developing strategies for building more welcoming communities in the area. The meeting starts at 9am and will end at 12pm. There is no charge for this event! Everyone is welcome!

NEW Youth Employment Fund
The Ontario Government has recently launched a New Youth Employment Fund. The program will be operated by Employment Ontario offices across the province. YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Employment will offer placements for youth who are 15 to 29 years old! Youth will be given the opportunity to participate in employment placements for at least four months. The placements will offer a chance for young workers to develop employment skills. The Youth Employment Fund will assist with the cost of items needed for work. More information about this program can be found at YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce.
Subsidized housing or Social housing is government supported accommodation for people with low to moderate income. You may be eligible for subsidized housing if all members of your household are Canadian Citizens or landed immigrants. The South East Grey Community Health Centre is a non-profit organization that provides primary care services and health programs to the residents of the Municipalities of Chatsworth, Grey Highlands, Southgate and West Grey. Health Services are provided by Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Social Worker, Registered Dietitian, Physiotherapist, Chiropodist, Health Promoter, and Community Developer.
The South East Grey Community Health Centre provides health services to individuals with no family doctor or whose doctor is out of region, seniors, children and youth, the economically disadvantaged, individuals with mental illness/addictions, people with mental and physical disabilities and pregnant women and families.
