Discover Canada The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship is the official study guide for the citizenship test in Canada. On Remembrance Day we remember and honour the Canadian veterans who served and fought in all wars. We also remember and honour those who died fighting in war. Wearing red poppies is one way that we observe Remembrance Day. We also remember our veterans with a minute of silence at 11:00 a.m. on Remembrance Day. This is the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
Healthy Smiles Ontario is a government-funded dental program for children 17 and under who do not have access to any form of dental coverage. To qualify for this program you need to be a resident of Ontario, the net income of your household must be $20,000 per year or below and you can not have access to any form of dental coverage.

The Homeownership Program is designed to provide renters with a loan, up to 5% of the purchase price, to assist them in purchasing a home of their own. The program helps eligible applicants with the purchase of a home that does not exceed the purchase price limits of each County.
Deadline for the program is December 31, 2013 or when funds are depleted.
Applicants must be Canadian Citizens, Landed Immigrants or have Refugee Claimant Status.
