TumbleBook Library is an online collection of animated, talking picture books. Words are highlighted as they’re read out so you can follow along. A Language Learning section is available which contains picture books translated into other languages. There are currently books in Spanish, French, Chinese, and Russian! If you would like to access TumbleBook in Bruce or Grey County the site can be found at, Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library, Hanover Public Library and Bruce County Public Library.

Trillium Drug Program

The Trillium Drug Program is a program offered by the government of Ontario to help with the costs of prescription drugs. If you are not on social assistance and you do not have private health insurance, or your private health insurance does not cover 100% of your drug costs, you can apply to the program to help pay for the cost of prescription medications. Applicants must live in Ontario and have a Ontario health card. If you are eligible, you will have to pay a deductible based on your household income. Applications for the program are available at your local pharmacy or by calling 1-800-575-5386. Need help preparing your income tax returns? A volunteer income tax program is being offered in the City of Owen Sound. Volunteers are available to provide free assistance to individuals with gross income under $35,000 or families with gross income under $40,000.
