The Trillium Drug Program is a program offered by the government of Ontario to help with the costs of prescription drugs. If you are not on social assistance and you do not have private health insurance, or your private health insurance does not cover 100% of your drug costs, you can apply to the program to help pay for the cost of prescription medications. Applicants must live in Ontario and have a Ontario health card. If you are eligible, you will have to pay a deductible based on your household income. Applications for the program are available at your local pharmacy or by calling 1-800-575-5386. Applications can also be located by using the following links Application for Ontario Drug Benefits and A Guide to Your Application (Ontario Drug Benefit).
