Quill supports literacy and basic skills agencies that offer adults a variety of FREE educational opportunities in Bruce, Grey, Huron, Perth and South Georgian Bay. Skilled trades are jobs that are done with your hands such as construction, plumbing, and welding. The Owen Sound Georgian College Campus offers one and two-year full-time programs that train people to become skilled trades workers. The College is hosting a Trades Open House in Owen Sound on Saturday June 14th. College staff will be available at this event to answer questions and to provide information about local job opportunities in the skilled trades.
