coats today
With a cold winter on the way, the need for warm winter clothing is great. Fall is the perfect time to tidy your coat closet before winter arrives! Volunteers in Grey Bruce have organized coat drives to collect quality snow pants, hats, mitts, and boots to give away to anyone that needs them. On October 18, 2014 from 8:30am to 1 pm, Coats 4 Kids is giving away warm winter apparel, to families at the Masonic Hall (behind Shoppers Drug Mart) The group is still accepting used winter items. Contact Marg Kerr at 519-364-3768 for more information. Grey Bruce Winter Coat Drive is presently accepting donations of gently used winter outerwear. Donations can be dropped off at Douglas Cleaners in Owen Sound. Clothing can be picked up at Douglas Cleaners after the Owen Sound Santa Claus Parade, on Saturday Nov 15, 2014. After this date, articles can be picked up at the United Way in Owen Sound.
