The service is FREE for residents of Ontario and you DO NOT need a health insurance number to access assistance . People that call telehealth can get advice about health-related matters such as health symptoms, illness, and injury. Telehealth offers information in English and French, and translation support is available for other languages. Telehealth Ontario is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A family physician will also provide a referral to specialists and order medical and laboratory tests when needed.
