Telehealth Ontario is a confidential telephone services that provides health advice or general health information from a registered nurse. The service is FREE for residents of Ontario and you DO NOT need a health insurance number to access assistance . People that call telehealth can get advice about health-related matters such as health symptoms, illness, and injury. Telehealth offers information in English and French, and translation support is available for other languages. Telehealth Ontario is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Finding a family doctor is important because they supply general health care for non-emergency medical conditions for you and your family. A family physician will also provide a referral to specialists and order medical and laboratory tests when needed.
