The cost of school supplies can quickly add up. The United Way of Bruce Grey is helping families by providing FREE backpacks and school supplies to those that need them. If you would like to order a new backpack and school supplies for your child or teenager you should contact 2-1-1 by July 29, 2016. You will be asked to provide your name, telephone number and the ages of the children in your family.
This summer The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is showing family friendly movies in their air conditioned Bruce Power Theatre on Saturday afternoons. The museum is located in beautiful Southampton ON. If you wish to attend this event you will need to pay general admission, however this is a free event for members . This is just one of many interesting programs taking place at the museum this summer. Ontario family fishing events are taking place in Ontario from July 2nd until July 10th . This means you do not have to purchase the mandatory fishing license to legally fish during this time. The province of Ontario allows everyone to fish without a fishing license twice a year. It is important to remember that although everyone can fish without a license during this time you still must fish under the Conservation fishing license limits, which are set out in the current Ontario Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary
