Public Open House

The County of Grey is hosting a Public Open House on Thursday September 27, 2018 from 9:00 am until 7:00pm. A ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at 1:00 pm followed by light refreshments.

The public is encouraged to attend the opening to see the new space and to learn about the important services that the County delivers to the community. The building will be open all day and guided tours will take place at 2:00pm, 4:00pm and 6:00pm.

A family physician will also provide a referral to specialists and order medical and laboratory tests when needed. Hair Cut on a Shoestring

If you do something on a shoestring, you do it with a very small amount of money. At the Salon Sisu School of Hair Styling, you can get a haircut for $12.50! A man’s hair cut costs $10.50. All hair styling performed by students is supervised by an experienced instructor. The salon is located in Owen Sound. Explore Skilled Trades

Skilled trades are jobs that are done with your hands such as construction, plumbing, and welding. The Owen Sound Georgian College Campus offers one and two-year full-time programs that train people to become skilled trades workers. The College is hosting a Trades Open House in Owen Sound on Saturday June 14th. College staff will be available at this event to answer questions and to provide information about local job opportunities in the skilled trades.
