The Refugee Experience, One Person’s Story

On Saturday April 9th at 2 pm at the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public library Vi Tu Banh will be sharing his story about escaping from Vietnam with his family when he was nine years old. The Banh’s eventually settled in Canada after living in a refugee camp in Indonesia.  Vi Tu’s journey was not an easy one and his story provides insight into the experience of a refugee. This is a free event hosted by Peace and Justice Grey Bruce.
