Experience the fall migration of the Georgian Bay salmon heading upstream to spawn October 1, 2016 from 1-4 pm at the Owen Sound Mill Dam and Fish ladder. The event will feature live music and tasting of salmon prepared by Chef Zach Keeshig and students from Georgian College’s culinary program. The Sydenham Sportsmen’s association and Grey Sauble Conservation will be attending the day to provide information regarding salmon migration and their hatchery operations. Parking for people that require accessible spaces will be available at the Mill Dam and general parking will be offered within walking distance from the celebration.
